"Water" Verse 1. Water, You often feel nice, But sometimes you're ice; But ice cools us down, And we're glad you're around, Please stay for a while; And you're often a gas, But I never question, What state you're in; 'Cause you've been around, Much longer than me, And the places you've been, You've swam through the oceans; With mermaids and submarines. Chorus. And you're often outside, But more often than not, You are inside with us, You're the cradle for us, That's why all the fuss; And H20, Where do you go, When it's too hard to flow? When it's 40 below, You go home; To mermaids and submarines, And the things in-between. Verse 2. Water, You treated us nice, But these plastics ain't right; A tsunami of sounds, And a visual landscape, Of things that were found; Like cigarette lighters, And bottles galore, Nature's not your whore; And we navigate the globe, With a satellite link, And you don't read a map, And you can't even think - for yourself; And water, You often feel nice, And sometimes you're life; Chorus. And you're often outside, But more often than not, You are inside with us, You're the cradle for us, That's why all the fuss; And H20, Where do you go, When it's too hard to flow? When it's 40 below, You go home; To mermaids and submarines, And the things in-between. by Jeff Arsenault @HNBD, @JeffaCubed

Authentic Self (Written - March 2011) 1. Melancholy so I don't go outside, People fight so I high-tail and hide. 35 but you're 16 inside, Just let it go and get on with your life. 2. Evaporation, well it's OK with me, Just let it go and release your disease. Have a shirt and it's made of bamboo, Doesn't smell but that's up to you :) 3. Drinking coffee, outside in the rain, Inside it's warm, but this house is insane. Taking naps, on the chesterfield, Ferme la bouche, come lets get real. 4. Sane is just, a state of mind, You've got yours, and I've got mine. Butterflies, on the shelf, Share with me your authentic-self. Jeff Arsenault (March 2011) @JeffaCubed @HNBD

CRTC (2011) I. C is for Canadian, and you're disappointing me, Your backroom deals they illustrate, what you're too pale to see, So we boosted your expense accounts, with more hypocrisy, And if you break the internets, you'll never learn to see. II. R is for resistance, there's still democracy, It's time to call your lackeys off, there's more to this than me, Your ties are dripping in your soup, your lapels are getting soiled, And yes I love the elderly, but there's some things they don't know. III. T is for the time you missed, it's a new century, No I didn't get your email, that you never sent to me, T is also tightrope, that you're walking on, As you propagate a scarcity, that isn't real at all. IV. C is for the case-in-point, yes it's come to this, The tools you use to regulate, have fallen to abyss, We ask you now to step aside, and exit graciously, For if you break the internets, you'll answer not to me. You'll answer not to me... Jeff Arsenault, January 2011.
